What is PlayTime?

It is an emerging pedagogy, sprouting philosophy and curiosity centered space where we can come together and tap into the possibilities of our bodies as living and aliven-ing beings.

In it we emphasize EXPRESSION and PLAY as the modes of exploration.

Possible vehicles for expression and play?

All Movements of the Body, Feeling, Sensation, Digestion, Vocalizing, Absurdity, Imagination, Shapeshifting, Personas, Playing, Being, Friendship, Tending to the Totality of our Relations, and so many more possibilities.

We celebrate expression and play as communication between us and the animate world at large.

Authenticity, inhabiting our bodies, freedom, choice, acceptance, silly playfulness, ecosystems, homes, wholeness, understanding, transgression, care, and belonging

Philosophy and Beliefs

These are some emergent beliefs that root Play Time

• We all have a body (yes).

• There is so much the body has to share if we give space for the body to speak

• The body is the mind, physical body, life force and the environments, ecologies, constellations, histories, futures and beings that surround us. It is our individual presence and the totality of our existence.

• There is nothing to know or fix. Just feel and remember our wholeness.

• The absurd, obtuse, playful are expressions of embodied truths.

Offerings

PlayTime is the umbrella for the Somatic explorations I have been longing to share outwardly. I also offer Somatic Coaching, Workshops, and Choreography/ Artistic Direction.
