About Thembo Paradise (Bay Area)

“El Cuerpo Presente” Immersion: Thembo Paradise is a 4 Session Immersion into play-based movement and meditations to deepen a relationship to our sense of power, intuition, and bodies. You will learn how to connect to the earth and others through play and sensual expression. Through movement, play, and meditation we will dive into the SENSUAL AND SILLY EXPERIENCE OF BEING ALIVE! We will begin to define what this fierce experience of embodied living means for each of us!

During this time we will specifically be gathering around the theme of “Thembo Paradise” as a pretty mindfulness path and living beauty meditation. 

This is an exploration where participants will engage in play-based somatic exercises and talking circles/platicas (heart-straightening talks).

Topics That Will Be Covered & Skills You Will Learn

• Building relationships with the land

• Medicine Making: We Will Be Making A Rose Agua Florida

• Somatic and sonic exercises

• Play, performance, and persona exercises for personal exploration

• Connecting to intuition and remembering our gifts and ancestral inheritances through non-linear ways

Who Is This For

“El Cuerpo Presente” is a space that is open to all. This course is well suited for those who are interested in decolonizing our senses. This is a play-based and creative expression forward space; it is well suited for those who are ok with feeling silly and diving into the unknown. If you feel like any of the mentioned topics are a brave space for you to step into; this space is for you too.
